Ministry of state-owned SOEs together 57 companies and the Ministry of Youth and Sports signed a memorandum of understanding (Memorandum of Understanding MoU) relating to coaching the national sport.
SOE Minister Mustafa Abubakar said the support was committed to participate in supporting the progress of the national sport, in particular the success of Indonesian contingent in the Sea Games in 2011.
"In this MoU SOE will provide assistance in the form of coaching athletes based on the principle of corporate sponsorship. Meanwhile, the Parent Organization of Sport will use the symbol of state-owned companies in the attributes of athletes coached, "he said today.
As an example of cooperation coaching the sport al PT Bank Mandiri fostering athletics, martial arts foster Askes, PT Pusri develop boxing, cycling foster PT Telkom, PT Pertamina to build badminton, PT Tambang Coal Bukit Asam (PTBA) to build soccer, chess foster PT PLN, PT Jasa Marga to build pools and PT Pindad foster shooting sports.
Mustafa hope this cooperation is not just a concept but should be implemented. Each party advised to monitor and report progress on implementation of this cooperation on a regular basis.
"But the most important key of the implementation of this cooperation is the implementation, not just on the order of the concept per se," he said.
